Changes to KLC Travel Assistance

9/2/24

Due to circumstances outside of our control, KLC can no longer arrange purchase orders for fuel in Halls Creek and Kununurra. This is because of changed requirements from suppliers.

Those requiring travel assistance to native title and PBC meetings in Halls Creek and Kununurra will now be reimbursed for their fuel expenses. This means you must keep your tax receipts. KLC will be issuing the reimbursements on a weekly basis.

Reimbursements will only be processed upon proof of valid fuel tax receipts from pre-approved requests. If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to the allocated project officer for the meeting.

The KLC is actively working to resolve the issue and hopes these measures will only be temporary. Please note, this only applies to the fuel stations in Halls Creek and Kununurra.
