KLC Representative Council Meets in Kununurra to Tackle Key Regional Issues

The KLC Representative Council gathered in Kununurra in May to address major issues impacting Prescribed Bodies Corporate (PBCs), local communities and the wider Kimberley region.

During the meeting, Council members engaged in meaningful discussions with the new WA Minister for Aboriginal Affairs, Don Punch, as well as local Member for Kimberley, Divina D’Anna.

They also held talks with representatives from Horizon Power and the National Native Title Council.

The Representative Council plays a vital role in guiding the KLC on matters that are important to Aboriginal people across the region. It is made up of members nominated by their respective PBCs, claim groups or eligible corporations.
